Our passports came. We’re going to Canada!!! VERY brief trip, but we will be passing through your town en route to the game! So you up for brunch on the 2nd of the new year? Also, you’re more than welcome to join us in going to Toronto that afternoon for the hockey game, and/or Hamilton the following day for the next game. It’s a hockeython!
I’ll call you today, but I’m too excited that it worked out with work and passports and whatnot to not write you now!

PS: I will bring a festive green thermos full of delicious coffee with us. We may need to refill when we arrive in your locale, but such is the nature of the brew.
