G.P. just pointed out to me the latest stupidity from that emergency services school we all know and love. They put out a survey, on which one of the questions asked the surveyee to rank three options according to preference. The instructions said: “You must use all of the numbers between 1 and 3. After ranking the options, put the total score in the last box. The total score must be 6.”
